Case Study#1 Bovine Dairies

Categories:Case Studies

A Manufacturing company based in Linbro Park Johannesburg asked us to provide a Time and Attendance system that would fit in well with their rapid expansion plans but not cost the earth.  The customer now has a fully featured system and an excellent reporting as well as exporting worked hours into VIP payroll.

Bovine Dairies have an EP300 Econo Fingerprint Reader that serves 60 employees.

  • They work a 40 hour week
  • For one week, employees are on day shift and then for one week they are on night shift.
  • They do not work on Saturdays or on Sundays.
  • Shift changes on Mondays.

Day shift: Monday – Thursday : 08h00 – 17h00 with half an hour unpaid lunch.

: They have 15 minutes paid tea time.

: They clock in and out  during tea and lunch times.

: The lunch and tea times are fixed.

Friday: 08h00 – 14h00 with no lunch, only 15 minutes tea time.

Night shift: Monday – Thursday : 19h00 – 06h00 with an hour paid break.

This case study portrays how Clockwatch can integrate into diverse work schedules and accommodate for paid/unpaid breaks and fixed as well as flexible times.
